Unit is in excellent condition inside and out. Was removed from a Working Gas Tank Mass Spectrometer. Basically they would put a plastic gas tank into a vacuum chamber, evacuate the O2 in the chamber and bleed back in a bit of Helium. If the Mass Spectrometer picked up the helium, there was a leak in the tank and it went to the recycle bin.
This pump, along with the whole system, and has never been used with any gases other than atmosphere...
