The incinerator is a dual chamber incinerator capable of processing between 130 to 250 lbs per hour depending on the solid waste type. It is new and has never been used. The system is designed to operate as manual feed batch operation.

The incinerator uses dual reactor technology to deliver complete destruction of the wastes, leaving only ash and metallic components as the remains. During operation the primary reactor compartment is loaded with waste and the door is then closed shut. The ignition burner is then lit and it ignites the waste, which is burnt in the primary reactor. At this point, the oxidation occurring in the primary reactor takes place under controlled starved air combustion that drives out all volatiles and consumes carbon from the waste. The ncinerator will automatically operate until the temperature of the primary reactor reaches 1200°F. Thus, the system becomes
self-generating; shutting off the ignition burner, which in turn saves fuel.

The temperature in the primary
reactor is maintained at 1200°F level by controlling the air supply to speed up the combustion or by water quenching to slow down the combustion process, as required.

Volatiles that are not absorbed in the primary reactor proceed to the secondary reactor. In this chamber, the combustion process is completed with the introduction of secondary combustion air and an excess air burner to maintain the temperature at a level up to 2200°F. The high temperature level is maintained to assure that all hydrocarbons are consumed. The burner further modulates to control the temperature, preventing excessive temperature surges with high volatiles discharged.

All discharges to the atmosphere are completely combusted, making the OR incinerators ideal for applications where stringent pollution standards are in effect.
