• 11-3/4" Max. foil width, 9-3/4" max. panel material width with a min. length of 31-1/2", 3-1/2" max. material thickness.
• Ideal application: For continuously wrapping profiles with vinyl foils using PAP Hot Melt Glue.
• Operational characteristics: Foil is drawn from the foil reel and is led by deflection rollers to the glue applicator. Glue is then applied on the back of the foil. The glue spread can at any time be adjusted to a minimum layer thickness and to the required width (this machine is equipped w/ photocell scanning control for automatic glue spread width adjustment). The top surface of the material (profile) is laminated first, continuing down the sides towards the bottom.
• After its upper surface has been laminated, the profile proceeds to the wrapping section where various shaped rollers wrap step-by-step the edges of the profile. Hot air blowers warm the individual wrapping areas which activates the adhesive. Subsequent roller sets apply pressure "again" to all wrapped surfaces and ensure a very high initial adhesion.
• Equipped with: "PU 800" Automatic spool & unwind station for vinyl foil rolls, max. 23-5/8" dia. foil material rolls; top "AB 600" dust cleaning brushes, adjust in height.
• Adhesive application section with: "AB 300" Quick Melt Unit with special coated-surface glue applicator head to avoid glue residues sticking to it, electrically heated with overheat protection and digital temperature display.
• It features: 6-Segment Teflon coated aluminum platen, each with a cast-in heater; Teflon encapsulated silicone plate seals; over-temperature detection & protection; low/empty drum indication w/warning beacon to advise of required drum change, and a 16' long x 5/8" dia. hose which feeds directly into machines glue reservoir.
• Adhesive is applied to the foil from below, foil is fed & guided by pneumatically controlled pressure rollers; centrally fed high temp air system with FORSTHOFF guns for glue reactivation placed placed throughout pressing & forming area.
• A "18-axel assembly" feed thru system throughout entire machine bed (each with multiple large dia. rubberized wheels) transports the material through the form & pressure section which applies & forms the vinyl foil to the substrate (the left & right side mounted form roller supports are fully adjustable).
