IEC Minotome Microtome/Cryostat with digital display. The Minot rotary microtome produces distortion-free sections from 2 to 16u thickness in 2u increments. Anti-roll plate ensures uniformly flat sections. Temperature is set on digital thumb wheel controls. LED display shows temperature at knife edge (ambient to -28 degrees C), or at 15-position quick freeze plate when panel button is pressed. Plate temperature range can go to -35 degrees C or lower for stat work by pressing cycle control switch. Daily automatic defrost cycle is programmed on digital am/pm clock.
