BD Bactec TB-460 System. This is an automated radiometric system which is used for primary isolation of mycobacteria, subsequent drug susceptibility testing, and differentiation of TB complex from mycobacteria other than tuberculosis (MOTT) bacilli. This instrument measures the amount of radioactive CO2 produced by mycobacteria in a specialized culture medium. Includes 15 sample racks.
