The Model 6893 is for quick off line program generation and editing for all Universal Through hole assembly equipment.
The machine uses a manual probe method across a 22" x 22" X & Y area to digitize component locations. This data is used to write the program as you probe the locations. 2000 points per hour can be realized on this pantograph system depending on operator dexterity and board layout. The machine accepts all standard workboard holders and tooling plates and with adaptors many others.
In addition, this system can add value in several other uses in the production area. Including:
* Digitizing products for other machine types.
* Verify Workboard holder/ tooling plate setup and registrations.
* Identify PCB dimensions/supplier issues
* Verify CAD data and or establish off sets.
* Reduce or eliminate NPI programing issues.
This is a low cost system that requires almost no maintenance and can help increase productivity, quality and eliminate waste, reducing component overage requirements and rework.
