The Model 4810 gaging module is a stand-alone, non-contact displacement measurement gage with an analog display of probe displacement on the front panel.
Operating on the principle of capacitance, the 4810 offers unparalleled resolution(as little as 0.050 nm) and bandwidth.
The passive design of the Series 2800 probes makes this an ideal candidate for measurement applications in difficult-to-reach areas or in vacuum. Ultra High stability versions of the system are available which offer stability of better than a part in 25,000 over 6 months. The 4810 is also ideally suited for making very high precision non-contact thickness measurements.
