Description:
Temperatures up to 1800�C and 2400�C respectively in well-defined atmospheres or in high vacuum. High temperature, stainless steel furnace. Radiation shields and an additional sample surrounding heater in the HDK 2.4 enable achievement of these extreme temperatures and mantain low temperature gradients at the sample. Beryllium window for low intesity loss of the penetrating x-rays. Options: rotating sample holder for operation up to 1600�C by means of a surrounding heater (May not have this option).

High-Temperature X-Ray Diffraction Chamber HDK 2.4/SO for oxidative operation. With PtRh sample surrounding heater, without spare sample carriers.

Radiation Shields: Ni (according to descriptive literature)
