Description:
The Trek 678 is a linear, high-voltage amplifier for precise control of voltages in the range of 0 to -30 kV, witha n output current range of 0 to ±20 mA peak. It is configured as a non-inverting amplifier with a fixed gain of +3000 V/V.
The 678 features an all-solid-state designt hat delivers wide bandwidth, fast slew rate, and low-noise operation. The output stage sinks or sources current anywhere within the output voltage range. A.C. response controls permit dynamic response trimming. This model also has protective circuitry that makes it short circuit proof.
A precision 6000:1 voltage divider provides a low-voltage replica of the high-voltage output signal. This low-voltage signal is frequently used as a monitor as a feedback signal.
