(One) 13,500KW ISO base load General Electric 5001 LA Gas Turbine Generator unit manufactured in 1967 and placed in standby utility service in 1969, with 1,840 total fired lifetime hours and 1,089 starts. The sound attenuated unit is skid mounted in an outdoor enclosure. The unit presently operates on fuel oil #2 or can burn lighter distillates, but can be converted to natural gas or dual fuel. The combustion turbine is direct connected to a General Electric 3600 RPM main reduction gearbox which drives a 21,176 KVA General Electric Model ATB-2, 3/60/13,800 Volt, 886 amp, 0.85P.F. air cooled synchronous generator. The unit comes with 300HP Cummins diesel engine starter, inlet air silencer, exhaust silencer, lubrication oil system, air blast lubrication oil cooler, turbine/generator control system, synchronizing system, alarm annunciators, instrumentation, generator protective relays, main circuit breaker, and motor control centers. Drawings, operation and maintenance manuals are included. The approximate ISO base load performance is: Heat Rate of 14,120 BTU/KW/HR, an exhaust temperature of 885/985°F and an exhaust flow of 215.6 LB/SEC.
