The 50 taper 36-tool magazine enables VTM Series machines to offer both turning and milling operations on a single platform. Okuma & Howa box way construction and wide, angular slideways on each axis provide high rigidity for accurate machining. A vertical axis counterbalance assures smooth, stable feed at all speeds. The headstock is fixed to the base, minimizing the influence of thermal changes and vibration on cutting accuracy.
