The machine is a High Vacuum Plastic Metallization Coating Machine for 440 mm sheet plastic rolls (1 meter wide). The machine sublimates aluminum coating different types of plastic as PVC or PET. The installation consist in different parts where the body is from year 1993 and the rest of components are new, from year 2003 (all of them LEYBOLD a really known trade mark). The machine is still working so there is no problem to visit it at work (Madrid). The wide of the machine is 6 meters, it measures 8 meters long and 2 meters high. The maintenance cost of the machine is really small and it can be controlled by just one person. The aluminum used is really small too, the machine can coat the plastic sheets with minimum 7 microns of aluminum, coating always 100% of the surface of the plastic (other machines don´t coat the ends of the plastic sheet).
