The plant is a complete plant which is designed by AHLSTRÖM Heat Engineering to evaporate 4000 liters of liquid out of 2.5 - 5% dry matter solution and concentrate it up to 50% solution with quantity of 200 kg dry bases. Steam consumption 50 kg/h, 3 bar. Evaporation is made in 14.5 meter high falling film type evaporation tower and in 0.3 bar (abs) pressure and under 100 Celsius degree temperature with two separate evaporation circuits. The plant has the following main components: 1) AHLSTRÖM evaporation tower, height 14.5 m, diameter 1100mm, design pressure 0.1/-1.0 bar, materials: evaporation tubes Titanium (350 pcs, diam. 38mm), other product touching parts AISI 316 or AISI304 with Titanium cover. (nr: 458) 2) PILLER Steam Fan type 2557 KKXGA 80280, volume 5.12 m3/sec, pressure rise 8.98 kPa, electric motor 75 kW. Equipped with bearing lubrication system, vibration control and steam sealing. 3) 3 pcs FRISTAM Product circulation pumps, 20 m3/h, 2 bar, 4 kW / 2860 rpm. (nr:457) 4) 3 pcs ALFA-LAVAL plate heat exchangers, plate materials AISI 316 (nr: 461, 460 and 465) 5) Steam ejector KÖRTING HANNOVER DN100/150/150. The balance of the plant consist of total instrumentation for automatic operation, piping and other equipment needed for normal operation of the plant.
